When winter snows cover the countryside, Marquette County’s gently rolling hills and valleys, frozen lakes and wetlands are criss-crossed with more than 250 miles of wellmarked snowmobile trails, groomed for smooth passage and easy riding. Established, managed and maintained by the six clubs of the Marquette County Snowmobile Clubs Assoc., most of the trails are on private land. Maps and additional information are found in a brochure prepared by the Association, available throughout the county.

Be sure to check out the Endeavor Freedom Riders warming shack. Stop by sign the guest book, warm up next to the wood stove, play cards or have a picnic on the table and chirs inside. One of the best kept secrets on the trail!
