Residents and visitors are encouraged to help make our photo contest an annual event. Enter your photo and be eligible to win prizes (see recent winners).

Plants (wildflowers, shrubs, and trees)
Wildlife (animals, insects, etc.)
People (using the Counties Amenities, may need a model release in some cases)
Open (landscapes, etc.)
Contest Rules
All pictures must be taken within the boundaries of Marquette County between 1/1/09 and 9/30/09 .
You may enter pictures in all four categories. Only two photos per category may be submitted (total 16 per photographer).
Photos submitted may be black and white, or color. Prints should not be larger than 4”x6”. Do not frame or mount photos. Digital photos must be high resolution.
Please label the back of each print photo with name, address, phone number, category and where in the county the picture was taken. Digital pictures must be provided on disk. Include name, address, phone number, category and where in the county the picture was taken.
If you would like to have your print photos returned, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope with sufficient postage.
Any photo entered may be copied by Marquette NOW and may be used for displays or in publications.
The contest is open to all residents or visitors with the exception of judges, and board members of Marquette NOW.

Judging
A panel of judges will determine the winners. The judges will include a representative of Marquette NOW, Marquette County and The Marquette County Tribune.
Winners
First Place winners in each category will receive a $50 gift certificate. Second place winners in each category will receive a $25.00 gift certificate. All pictures will be displayed on our website after the contest is complete.
